tcpkeepalive: distinguish OS versions and use proper time units (#1669)
DragonFly BSD changed the time unit for TCP keep-alive from milliseconds to seconds since v5.8 and Solaris 11.4 added `TCP_KEEPIDLE`, `TCP_KEEPINTVL`, and `TCP_KEEPCNT` with time units in second while Solaris <11.4 still use `TCP_KEEPALIVE_THRESHOLD` and `TCP_KEEPALIVE_ABORT_THRESHOLD` with time units in millisecond.

Currently, we don't differentiate among DragonFly BSD versions but set the keepalive options with seconds, which will result in unexpected behaviors on DragonFlyBSD <5.8. This PR intends to fix the wrong usage of time units of TCP keepalive options on DragonFly BSD <5.8 and consolidate the logic of time units conversion for TCP keepalive across platforms.

In addition, this PR introduces a new custom macro for determining Solaris 11.4. This macro is expected to help us implement some new features for `libuv` using some abilities that only exist on Solaris 11.4 and other mainstream platforms in the future, considering that Oracle developed and released Solaris 11.4 to replenish plenty of features on Solaris that have already been implemented on other UNIX-like OSs but missing from Solaris <11.4, also bring a good deal of new features.

Accept SOCK_NONBLOCK/SOCK_CLOEXEC in type argument of socketpair (#1567)
Setting `SOCK_NONBLOCK` and `SOCK_CLOEXEC` in the `type` argument of `socketpair()` is widely supported across UNIX-like OS: Linux, *BSD, Solaris, etc., as is the `socket()`. This will conserve several extra system calls, we should use it where available.

Implement full support of TCP Keep-Alives across most Unix-like OS's (#1532)
Default settings of TCP keep-alive are not always feasible,
take Linux for example, the duration a connection needs to be
idle before sending out the first keep-alive probe is two hours,
which makes detecting dead connections extremely deferred. Thus,
enabling TCP keep-alive will be to little avail.

This sets TCP_KEEPIDLE, TCP_KEEPINTVL, and TCP_KEEPCNT when enabling TCP
keep-alive mechanism to make it practicable.

Add LEV_OPT_BIND_IPV4_AND_IPV6 flag (#1400)
Libevent introduced the LEV_OPT_BIND_IPV6ONLY to pass to evconnlistener_new_bind to make it automatically set the underlying socket as accepting ipv6 requests. This works fine on posix compliant platforms as by the standard every new AF_INET6 socket is created as both supporting ipv6 and ipv4 connections. But on windows the default is the opposite, with the flag IPV6_V6ONLY being always enabled by default.

This makes creating a listener to supports both protocols a bit more tricky as winsock doesn't allow changing this flag after evconnlistener_new_bind does all the initial setup because as stated in the docs, you can't change it after the sonnect connected, so one would have to manually create the socket beforehand and set the flag and then call evconnlistener_new with the socket itself.

It would be nice to have libevent keep a consistent behaviour across the platforms in this scenario, maybe or by making it always set IPV6_V6ONLY to false unless LEV_OPT_BIND_IPV6ONLY is passed, in which case it's set to true, or add another flag to forcefully set it to false and keep the system dependent behaviour as default.

So this patch add new option for libevent listeners to bind to both - LEV_OPT_BIND_IPV4_AND_IPV6

620a3fa1d5 Doxygen documentation improvements
- Documentation for `bufferevent_compat.h` and `rpc.h` is not generated
  since the `@file` command is missing. It can be fixed by adding
  `@file` in file comment block.
- The briefs of buffer.h,bufferevent.h and some other files are missing.
  Adding `@brief` command can fix it.
- The parameters in the function declaration are different from the
  parameters following the `@param` command.We should change them to the
  same.
- Documentation of `watch.h` is not generated since `watch.h` has not
  been added to the Doxyfile `INPUT` tag.

- Add link to the watch.h in event.h

Define _GNU_SOURCE properly/consistently per autoconf
Although `_GNU_SOURCE` can be defined as an arbitrary #define per the
glibc docs [1], it's best to define it in a manner consistent with the way
that autoconf defines it, i.e., `1`.

While this shouldn't matter in most cases, it does when the headers from
other projects follow the poorly defined GNU convention implemented by
autoconf and are included after the libevent's util.h header. An example
failure with clang, similar to the failure I encountered, is as follows:
```
$ printf "#define _GNU_SOURCE\n#define _GNU_SOURCE 1" | clang -c -x c -
<stdin>:2:9: warning: '_GNU_SOURCE' macro redefined [-Wmacro-redefined]
        ^
<stdin>:1:9: note: previous definition is here
        ^
1 warning generated.
```

This happened when compiling python [2] with a stale homebrew util.h file from
libevent (which admittedly would not happen in a correct libevent install, as the
header should be installed under /usr/local/include/event2/util.h). However, if
both headers had been combined (which is more likely), it would have failed as
shown above.

Removing the ad hoc definition unbreaks compiling python's pyconfig.h.in header
when included after util.h from libevent.

Eliminate fd conversion warnings and introduce EVUTIL_INVALID_SOCKET (windows)
windows has intptr_t instead of regular int.

Also tt_fd_op() had been introduced, since we cannot use tt_int_op() for

Check existence of IPV6_V6ONLY in evutil_make_listen_socket_ipv6only() (mingw32)
MinGW 32-bit 5.3.0 does not defines it and our appveyour [1] build
reports this instantly:
    evutil.c: In function 'evutil_make_listen_socket_ipv6only':
    evutil.c:392:40: error: 'IPV6_V6ONLY' undeclared (first use in this function)
      return setsockopt(sock, IPPROTO_IPV6, IPV6_V6ONLY, (void*) &one,

  [1]: https://www.appveyor.com/docs/windows-images-software/#mingw-msys-cygwin

Another solution will be to use mingw64 which has it, but I guess we do
want that #ifdef anyway.

listener: ipv6only socket bind support
According to RFC3493 and most Linux distributions, default value is to
work in IPv4-mapped mode. If there is a requirement to bind same port
on same ip addresses but different handlers for both IPv4 and IPv6,
it is required to set IPV6_V6ONLY socket option to be sure that the
code works as expected without affected by bindv6only sysctl setting
in system.

c9e6c3d70f The Windows socket type is defined as SOCKET.
Under the hood it's an unsigned rather than a signed type and whilst C
compilers are largely happy with this C++ compilers tend to be fussy
about class function signatures which makes C++ usage of libevent
problematic.

3f8c7cd035 Convert include-guard macro convention to avoid reserved identifiers
Previously we used include-guards with names like _EVENT2_EVENT_H_.
But C reserves macros beginning with an underscore for use by the
system. This patch converts all include guards for files like
include/event2/<fname.h> to be of form EVENT2_<FNAME_H>_INCLUDED_,
and all Libevent 1.x headers in include/<fname.h> to be of the form
EVENT1_<FNAME_H>_INCLUDED_, and all internal libevent headers with
names like <fname.h> to the form <FNAME_H>_INCLUDED_.

FNAME_H is here derived from fname.h by replacing every
non-macro-usable character in fname.h with an underscore, and
putting every remaining character in uppercase.

This is an automatic conversion. The script that produced was made by
running the following script over all header files:

=====
#!/usr/bin/perl -w

# Run this on every .h file except config.h, sys/queue.h, WIN32/event2/event-config.h

use strict;

my %macros = ();
my %skipped = ();
FILE: for my $fn (@ARGV) {
    my $f = $fn;
    if ($fn !~ /^\.\//) {
	$f = "./$fn";
    }
    if ($f eq './config.h' or
	$f =~ m#/tree.h$# or
	$f =~ m#/queue.h# or
	$f =~ m#/event-config.h# or
	$f =~ m#/evconfig-private.h#) {
	$skipped{$fn} = 1;
	next FILE;
    }
    $skipped{$fn} = 0;
    open(F, $fn);
    while (<F>) {
	if (/^#ifndef ([A-Za-z0-9_]+)/) {
	    $macros{$fn} = $1;
	    next FILE;
	}
    }
}

print "#!/usr/bin/perl -w -i -p\n\n";
for my $fn (@ARGV) {
    if (! exists $macros{$fn}) {
	print "# No macro known for $fn!\n" if (!$skipped{$fn});
    } else {
	if ($macros{$fn} !~ /_H_?$/) {
	    print "# Weird macro for $fn...\n";
	}
	my $goodmacro = uc $fn;
	$goodmacro =~ s#^\./##;
	$goodmacro =~ s#INCLUDE/EVENT2#EVENT2#;
	$goodmacro =~ s#INCLUDE/#EVENT1_#;

68120d9b00 Convert event-config.h macros to avoid reserved identifiers
C reserves all identifiers beginning with an underscore for system
use. But we had been mangling our autoconf identifiers with the
prefix "_EVENT_" to avoid conflict with other programs.

Instead, we will now use the prefix "EVENT__". With any luck, the
double-underscore will still hint "here be dragons" to anybody
tempted to think that event-config.h is a stable api.

This is an automatically generated patch. The script that produced
it was made by running this script over config.h.in:

=====

#!/usr/bin/perl -w

# Run this on config.h.in

use strict;

my %macros = ();

while (<>) {
    if (/^# *undef +([A-Za-z0-9_]+)/) {
	$macros{$1} = 1;
    }
}

print "#!/usr/bin/perl -w -i -p\n\n";
for my $k (sort keys %macros) {
    print "s/(?<![A-Za-z0-9_])_EVENT_$k(?![A-Za-z0-9_])/EVENT__$k/g;\n";
}

== And the script that it generated was then run over all .c and .h files:
#!/usr/bin/perl -w -i -p

5880e4a1fc Support TCP_DEFER_ACCEPT sockopts for listeners
A listening socket can be enabled with the sockopt
TCP_DEFER_ACCEPT. This informs the kernel to not call the user-land
accept() until real data has been written to the socket.

A new flag LEV_OPT_DEFERRED_ACCEPT has been introduced to
automatically set this option. Optionally
evutil_make_tcp_listen_socket_deferred() can be called manually.
